I'm Bernhard, a self taught pianist. I started playing the piano at age 7 and play everything by ear.

I don't play by sheet music, but instead am able to play whatever is on my heart and mind. I do a lot of improvising which is basically making up my own music. This means I can play for hours straight without ever running out of songs to play because I make it all up. This is why I want to teach you or your child the art of playing by ear. It's like a different world of playing, you can put what is on your heart into the music. Not just while improvising but while playing songs as well.
